  • Aug 12, 2014: In collaboration with the City of Edmonton, SCIS graduate student Elinam Richmond Hini completed an iPhone app - the Alberta Weed Spotter - as his MSc project. The app has been downloaded over 2,000 times in the first week and is receiving a lot of positive media attention (e.g., CTV, CBC, Global, Edmonton Journal).
